Trattoria da Carlo Bravo bravo bravo. Small square, a secluded corner of the historic center. The owner found us a table despite not having booked. Always present at all tables, an indication for everyone on the choice of food, a nice joke for foreign guests. One careful eye at the tables and one in the kitchen. Simple but good dishes. Crouton with fava bean puree Panzanella revisited with couscous Sliced beef Beef tartare Fair prices. A prize to the kitchen and one to the ability of the owner. We will return to the beautiful Orvieto and certainly also to the trattoria da Carlo. Highly recommended.

In a wonderful spot, a viccolo just off Corso Cavour, it feels tranquil. When weather is good the outdoor seating is lovely. Out table had a starter of croatini with fava, a very light eggplant parmesan and then baccala with ceci cream, umbricelli arrabiata, ciccoria ripassata. Everyone was happy and even better is the owner...very friendly and warm. Definitely recommend to try this restaurant. Also try the wines from Argillae ( the windwryyis owned by the chefs wife's family). Nice selections.

We visited Argillae Srl winery and were told by the owners daughter that the amazing food was prepared by Giulia’s husband who is the chef at Da Carli’s. Our lasagne was one of the best we have ever had so hope to go to this restaurant before we go home. Highly recommend the winery too with the tour and wine pairing. Had a great day.

Really lovely lunch, everything homemade and with a distinct Umbrian flavour. Seasonal food with a twist and wonderful wine from Argillae. This restaurant always delivers, if sometimes in a quirky and offbeat way.

We’ve been here a couple of times and each time we feel more welcome. The food is definetely the best in the region. If you can try the lasagne or the gnocchi it’s delicious. His wife also has a winery which is great and known for the white wines. Carlo is also great with children. We will surely be coming back.
